Laketon Township

Mullally Memorial Park (including Lange Baseball Complex)

About the Park

Mullally Memorial Park boasts a spacious 58 acres of land, which was donated by James and Mae Mullally to the township for the park.

Today, the park offers 2 covered pavilion picnic areas, Lange baseball complex, football, volleyball, and soccer fields, a tennis court, 4 pickleball courts, a basketball court, and 9-hole disc golf course (with access until 11:00pm for glow in the dark disc golf – please be courteous with noise levels for the comfort of neighboring homes), a walking/jogging path (approx. 1/2 mile around the perimeter of Lange baseball complex), and two main playground areas, one that was constructed in 2019/2020, including the Margaret Campbell handicap accessible playground.  The other playground was constructed in 2016,  to replace the old one that was originally built in 1986, but was becoming unsafe! Building of the NEW MULLALLY PARK PLAYGROUND was made possible with the help of a grant provided by the playground equipment company and installation of the equipment was accomplished in 2 days with the labor of Township Officials, Staff and volunteers from the community, including the Muskegon Northside Lions Club and the Northside Lacrosse Club.

During the spring, summer and fall several youth organizations (Reeths Puffer Youth Soccer, Reeths Puffer Youth Football, Reeths Puffer Baseball and Reeths Puffer Youth Softball) have organized sports for boys and girls – soccer, baseball, softball, football and cheerleading.

NEW IN 2024!  Laketon township is excited to announce we now have Pickleball courts! Also included are a new tennis and basketball court replacing the old worn out courts.  Parking and pavement were also upgraded.
