Muskegon County Parks Earth Day Volunteer Event
Description: Celebrate Earth Day by helping Muskegon County Parks! Plant dune grass and trees to prevent erosion, clean up the beach, and enjoy a free lunch provided for all volunteers.
Time: 9:00 AM to Noon (Please note time may change due to weather)
Location: Pioneer Park near the playground, 1563 N. Scenic Dr. Muskegon, MI 49445
Registration: Please RSVP by Thursday, April 18th via email to parks@co.muskegon.mi.us to help us get a headcount for lunch.
What to Bring:
- Gloves (optional, but recommended)
- Small spade shovels (optional, but recommended)
- Dress in warm layers (it's often windy and cooler by the lakeshore)
