The 2024 Winter Tax due date is today, 02/14/2025. Bills were mailed 12/1/2024.
A 3% penalty is applied to ALL 2024 unpaid property taxes on 02/15/2025.
1% interest also begins to accrue on any unpaid winter tax bill balances on 03/01/2025.
Property tax payments are accepted for 2024 property taxes from the date they are levied until the end of February 2025.
Starting March 1st, 2025 all unpaid 2024 property taxes are considered delinquent and must be paid to the Muskegon County Treasurer with all applicable penalties and interest.
